LX-i Compact, Hand-held Digital Sonar
2,500 watt output power for shooting through ice or obtaining depth
readings from canoes or bellyboats.
It’s only about the size of a flashlight, but this pocket-sized digital sonar is a
powerful instrument, with an oversized LCD display and a transducer beam
capable of displaying depths to 299 feet. Reads depth in increments down to
a tenth of a foot to 99.9 feet. Now, ice fishermen don’t need to drill dozens of
holes looking for structure, they need only to press the LX-i against the ice
and take a reading.
MarCum sonar engineers designed this product’s predecessor for another
company but with tooling that was shot and electronic parts that became
obsolete, it was time for the next generation. The LX-i now has a number
of new features including a digital receiver that’s more consistent and
accurate than the old analog design. Perfect for ice fishing and ideal for
summer fly-ins or packing into hike-in lakes.
It may just be the most advanced hand held digital sonar ever made. And,
it’s designed and manufactured in the USA, with a one-year warranty.
